It's not specified exactly if the TCP/IP is available for connection. Based on the answers posted on a certain forum, you can use UDP successfully, but there are some TCP/IP problems that users encountered as well and although they want to use this protocol, none of the ones who discussed there had any luck doing so.
I recommend reading what they said, because who knows, you might be lucky to get the fix to use the TCP/IP protocol.
Can't get the GPS-AIS signal from True Heading CTRX via a Profilic ser-USB cable into Seaclear, while working under Windows 10. It does not recognize the COM port, whereas a GPS-mouse at that port is recognized. The True Heading Company has no idea for a solution. Uploading updates of the PL2303 driver did not help.

The information on the official website doesn't provide any details about the Windows 10. So, it's not supported. However, I have seen on the official website that there is a link which points to Microsoft Support and it's related to this error.
When I go through the process of finding charts, none are showing up. Any idea what I have not done or should do to fix this problem?

You're probably doing something wrong or the charts are not installed properly. For this operation, the developer created a guide that you can access from the official website. I recommend downloading the guide called "Loading Charts in SeaClear, a MapCal II Manual". Go to the website and download the manual to see exactly how to load the charts: http://www.sping.com/seaclear/#DOWNLOAD
Yes, the application can run on Windows 7 (32 or 64bit mode). I have downloaded and installed the application and everything worked normally. The application started, but I have applied a compatibility tweak.
Right click the Setup.exe then go to Properties > Compatibility and choose Windows Xp Service Pack 3 from the list. Run it as Administrator again and proceed with the installation.

I have installed the software and changed the resolution to 800 X 600. I minimized the application, then used right click to show all the windows. If you press the >> symbol next to File & Tools, the panel will be hidden. That is how it works in default way. You can't change it, but you can hide it. Additionally, right click inside the software's window and you should have the possibility to open or close windows.
